Barcotec sells mobile recording terminals, including software/apps and cloud solutions and has been helping companies to organise their work processes more efficiently and stay ahead of the game for over 35 years.

These are your tasks:

You will be responsible for analysing errors and troubleshooting barcode scanners (MDE) and wearables (RealWear, Vuzix, Nivy)
You support users in commissioning the devices and train the applications
You also work together with the Mobile Device Management team (support, testing, roll-out)
You prepare devices for test setups and measurements
You check devices after repair by the manufacturer and carry out software installations
You deal with hardware project planning (RFID, APs, scanners in production lines, ...)
You take care of the IT documentation and keep it up to date
The work with us is varied! Through your work with us, you will achieve, for example, shorter waiting times at the supermarket checkout, less food waste, fewer transports to and from warehouses, real-time knowledge transfer across continents and you will make the day-to-day work of our customers' employees easier every day

What you bring with you:

You have a good knowledge of mobile operating systems (Windows and Android)
You have also completed technical training with a school-leaving certificate and/or have relevant work experience
You are interested in further expanding your professional qualifications in order to be able to contribute to the further development of this area of the company
You have very good German and good English skills
You enjoy working in a team, are customer- and service-orientated and have an analytical and solution-oriented way of working

Salary:
From € 42,000 gross/year for full-time (38.5 h/w). We will jointly determine an attractive actual salary based on your qualifications and experience.
