Datalogic Gryphon 4500

Designed to be particularly user-friendly and equipped with the latest technologies, the barcode scanners of the Datalogic Gryphon 4500 series are convincing in the most diverse areas of application. Whether as a flexible hand-held scanner at the supermarket checkout, for capturing tickets at events or as a stationary device in the laboratory.

One of the most important innovations of the Gryphon 4500 series is the 2D imager with megapixel sensor and warm white light, it captures 1D and 2D codes even faster and more reliably. For optimal results in all environments, the sensor and aiming device can be individually adjusted.

Another practical innovation is the automatic switch between hand-held and presentation mode using motion-sensing technology: as soon as the barcode scanner is inserted into the base station, the device automatically scans every barcode in the detection range. The wireless versions feature innovative induction charging technology, with no open contacts, significantly reducing cleaning and maintenance costs. 

Versatile modelsThe Datalogic Gryphon 4500 Series scanners are available in a wide range of versions: the connection can be wired via USB and RS-232 or wireless, with Bluetooth or Datalogic STAR Cordless System narrowband radio.

In addition to the Standard Range version for 1D and 2D codes, the High Density version, with a particularly high-resolution scanning unit, can also read DPM codes (Direct Part Marking), while the Digimarc model enables digital watermarks to be read.

For healthcare applications, we offer versions with a disinfectable, antimicrobial housing.
