The wide range of models and smallest dimensions make the DSM04XX scan module suitable for a wide range of applications - from access control to sample testing.

The robust scan module is available with WVGA or megapixel resolution and in multiple reading ranges with a horizontal angle of up to 52 degrees. The Datalogic DSM04XX's high motion tolerance and highly visible target markings make it an ideal bar code scanner for consumer applications such as self-service vending machines. But the scan module is also used in manufacturing and laboratories: it reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes down to a resolution of just 2 mils. The Datalogic DSM04XX confirms successful barcode scans via an innovative Green Spot directly on the code and acoustically via an integrated beeper. With the photo functionality, additional applications can be realized, such as document scans.

Thanks to the robust design and the IP54 housing, which is resistant to strong cleaning agents, the Datalogic DSM04XX can also be mounted freely in addition to being installed in devices. With the included bracket in 5 different orientations. Simply connected via USB or RS-232, the module is practically ready for immediate use.
