Datalogic Magellan 900i – presentation scanner from Datalogic

Equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and a large field of view, the Magellan 900i offers high scanning performance in a compact form. The presentation scanner quickly and accurately captures all common 1D and 2D barcodes, including those from cell phones. It is suitable for applications such as supermarket checkouts, self-service checkouts, access control systems and kiosks as a free-standing or permanently installed device.

The Magellan 900i enables seamless switching between presentation and hands-free mode. Employees can easily switch between scanning items and scanning coupons from customer cell phones without having to change modes. The red target marker and intuitive green spot provide support in hands-free mode, while the soft lighting and adjustable timeout times ensure comfortable use in stand mode.

The Magellan 900i USB barcode scanner is easy to install and has options for an integrated stand or a flush OEM mount for integrated kiosk applications. The intuitive Datalogic software user interface enables easy firmware updates, configuration changes and scanner monitoring.
